Rebecca Unger, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with more than 10 years of clinical experience and a special focus in rheumatology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from North Carolina State University and completed her Physician Assistant studies at Campbell University.
Passionate about helping patients navigate autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, Rebecca combines compassion, education, and evidence-based care to support patients throughout their treatment journey. She believes that effective rheumatologic care begins with understanding each patient's unique concerns and goals, and she works collaboratively to develop individualized treatment plans that support both disease management and quality of life. Patients appreciate her thorough and thoughtful approach, as well as the time she takes to answer questions, explain treatment options, and ensure they feel informed and supported in their care.
Rebecca is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates and the American College of Rheumatology.
